Powerful Platforms
In China, there are three Exhibition Platforms for Opening-Up, namely China International Import Expo (CIIE), China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), and China International Fair For Trade In Services (CIFTIS).
Such powerful platforms provide great cooperation opportunities for businesses all over the world. Every year, many Irish firms and organisations are participating these exhibitions, however, there are a lot more Irish enterprises are still not aware or don’t know how to make the full use of them. ICSATA is honored to become one of the only international organisations in the world who is the official organisor of all these three exhibitions. This enables ICSATA a privilege opportunity to offer all Irish organisations, firms and institutes to participate these powerful platform as exhibitors, buyers, or visitors online and offline.

China International Import Expo (CIIE)
With the world’s largest population, China is the second largest economy, as well as the second largest importer and consumer in the world. In the next five years, China is expecting to import products and services valuing more than 10 trillion U.S. dollars, which provides a historic opportunity for enterprises across the world to enter the huge Chinese market. In May 2017, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced at the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation that China will hold China International Import Expo (CIIE) starting from 2018 in Shanghai. It is a significant move for the Chinese government to hold CIIE to give firm support to trade liberalization and economic globalization and actively open the Chinese market to the world. It facilitates countries and regions all over the world to strengthen economic cooperation and trade, and to promote global trade and world economic growth in order to make the world economy more open. ICSATA was appointed as the official organisor of CIIE to Ireland by CIIE Bureau in 2018.

China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair)
China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, is established in 1957. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and organized by China Foreign Trade Centre, it is held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, China. Canton Fair is a comprehensive international trading event with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, the largest buyer attendance, the broadest distribution of buyers’ source country and the greatest business turnover in China. Up to the 126th session, the accumulated export volume has amounted to about USD 1.4126 trillion and the total number of overseas buyers has reached 8.99 million. The exhibition area of one session totals 1.185 million ㎡ and the number of exhibitors from home and abroad stands at nearly 25,000. In each session, about 200,000 buyers attend the Fair from more than 210 countries and regions all over the world. ICSATA was appointed as the official organisor of Canton Fair to Ireland by China Foreign Trade Centre in 2019.
China International Fair For Trade In Services (CIFTIS)
The Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council approved the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality to jointly host China (Beijing) International Fair for Trade in Services (referred to as the Beijing Fair) in 2012, in order to enhance the international competitiveness of China’s service industry and trade in services, and give full play to the role of service industry and trade in services in accelerating the transformation of economic development mode. It was renamed China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in 2019. CIFTIS is the First Comprehensive Fair for Trade in Services in the World. ICSATA was appointed as the official organisor of CIFTIS to Ireland by its Beijing Leader Group in 2020.
